Books Donation to Pondok Baca, Bogor In Pondok Baca, Diah Ratnadewi, a lecturer at the IPB University of Bogor started a comfortable little "library" where children from 4 villages come to read and learn. Up to 50 children visit everyday after school to borrow books to read. The library is well looked after by the local volunteers and housewives who live near the library. Because of limited books, the children have to read the same materials over and over again. HDI Foundation contributed 6 boxes of books and magazines. The joy of giving truly has more meaning than the happiness of receiving.
