Training "Learning in organic agriculture as a one guide in the development of life skills" is the first step in preparing for life skill that encourages students in agricultural, soil and plant health, through the recycling process or waste crop residues and livestock manure, land management and combination the right planting and proper crop rotation, proper maintenance and do not use substances (fertilizers and pesticides), and chemical element.
Through its Community Development program as one of its program, HDI Foundation felt the need to equip students, teachers and the school environment with a number of capacities that are important to them through training, one of which is training intra personal and interpersonal intelligence development in children, teachers, and community.
The training was held in Junior High School Pangerasan Bogor, as HDI Foundation's assistance. The training was conducted for three days (13, 14, and May 15, 2011). At the first session of material that was delivered more emphasis on understanding the theoretical aspects of intelligence, while to understanding life skill carried out with direct practice in the classroom and field practice.
This training activities attended by 30 participants consisting of students, Teachers, Parents, Farmers Group, and community groups.
Participants are taught a very simple way in organic farming, every practice is to use elements that are around, so in the future, hope the participants can very easily teach it to others.
In the end, the participants then make Action Plan which would then be a Life Skills program for 6 months to November 2011, to direct practice of organic farming activities in the pilot area in Junior High School Pangerasan Bogor
