The announcer could make the atmosphere became full of jokes, but still serious.
On 11/4/13, Sidi Rana Menggala, Yeni Mardyana and Lina Kartasasmita of HDI Foundation spoke on a live radio talk show on Jakarta Siang Program DFM Radio 103.4 FM.
HDI Foundation invited the public to help in improving the standard of education in Indonesia. "It is important we open up everybody’s mind that there is no limit to what we, together can do to educate a child. It is not all on studies and passing examinations. While knowledge of the subjects is valuable, it is even more important to instill in all our children, values that will help them excel as adults! We want to develop a child in areas like soft skills. Where the emphasis is on Honesty, Integrity, Sincerity, and the most of all, is on LOVE. A child who grows up with Love at home and in school will mature faster, is more self-confident and have no fear in taking on challenges. Such a child will succeed as adults in society. Whatever he/she chooses to work as. Parents and Teachers can play a pivotal role in this! "Sidi said in the talk show.
Yeni added there were many possible roles. "No matter how small, the contribution that we provided will have a major impact for the children, and the future of Indonesia ".
Meanwhile, Mrs. Lina gave a message to the younger generation of Indonesia to get used to sharing. "No need to be rich to share, no need to feel you must have more than others before you share. Because when we help others, we are helping ourselves, "she said at the end of the talk show.
