Congratulations SMP Terbuka Teluk Naga with the 100% Graduating Class
The highest score this year is increased. It is believed that the students got more motivation in their studies.
Unfortunately, from all the graduates, only half of them will go to highschool. The rest decided to work in factories or by the fishing ponds.
June 14th, 2014 could have been the scariest day for the students of SMP Terbuka Teluk Naga, Tangerang, Banten. On that day, the results of the National Exams were announced.
The results were in, and 28 students of SMP Teluk Naga graduated with the highest score of 34. This success has proven that the school could successfully have all their students graduated.
Compared to last year, this year’s result is higher. The highest score last year was 28, whereas this year’s is 34. There are four subjects tested in the Middle School National Exams this year, which are Bahasa Indonesia, Sciences, Maths, and English.
“The highest score this year is an average of 8.5. I am sure that the scores got higher because the students got more motivation in their studies,” said Mrs. Asyatun, one of the teachers.
Unfortunately, from all the graduates, only half of them will go to highschool. The rest decided to work. According to Mrs. Asyatun, a lot of them prefer to work in factories or by the fishing ponds.
“They know that school requires funds, and if they work, instead of losing money they will be earning some, even if just a little,” she added, regretfully.
